1. In the play, the funniest moments took place when Benvolio and Mercutio went on a search for Romeo. This scene was very realistic, and the actors did a great job acting it out. Also, I thought the Nurse and Juliet did a great job during the scene when Juliet was trying to figure out what Romeo had told the Nurse about marriage.
2. I thought the most emotional moment was when Lady Montague and Romeo stood next to each other, both holding the vile that held the poison. What made this scene so emotional was the fact that the mother and son were both going to kill themselves in the same way, but they were oblivious to each others actions.
3. The most dramatic scene in the play happened when Lord Capulet became outraged when his only daughter, Juliet, did not want to marry the noble Paris. The actors did a great job with stage combat, and Lord Capulet did an excellent acting job. I think his acting not only scared the ladies on the stage, but some people in the audience as well.
4. Overall I thought they did a good job with the play. I found it unusual yet intriguing that the director decided to place some modern lines and outfits into the play. Therefore, I would recommend others to see this play because it was interesting to see the director's interpretation of the play. If I could change anything about this production, it would be to keep the the outfits of the actors old english.
